  1. It's a disaster zone and barely reached international news and according to numbers by worldometer the number is 0.56% of entire population dead. I suspect it's a bit of an overestimate now with some excess deaths due to heart conditions and diabetes dying due to covid 19 restrictions but regardless the cause that percentage of excess deaths is tragic.
