  1.  @StevenX-v1r  One thing doesn't exclude the other. As an Australian I think it's a tragedy in both cases, some countries not having the political will to do what's needed and putting the rights of travellers above the overall population and the human rights issues in China are not good also. What you are arguing is 2 wrongs make a right and they don't.

  3.  @knightatdawndonbynight8432  While I am not a fan of China on many issues, there is no evidence that China's direct death toll from covid 19 is any more inaccurate than elsewhere. Of course in the beginning nowhere was highly accurate. They haven't as far as I know released the excess deaths caused indirectly by the lockdown, Chinese believe they are the exception to the rule , but it happened virtually every other country and China did a hard lockdown it would have certainly happened there.
