  1. Yeah but subsidies aren't necessary. Abruptly cutting them isn't a good idea , phasing them out over a 10 year period or so would make sense.

  3. I think Elon is planning to be a genuine monarch by privatising certain functions of the government and getting the contracts by seeing competitors bids which he can undercut slightly. If this scenario plays out Americans will fall for it and think Elon is great.
