  1. I think the issue is both Americans want to be known as honourable and selfish reasons. America is now seen as a dishonourable country on trade agreements and AID. Not sure if it's a net benefit for other democracies but it is a net benefit for non democracies. As an Aussie it will likely mean buying less Chinese Tesla vehicles and more BYD Chinese vehicles and so be it. Of course it's more than that but that's front and centre.
