  1. It's about disfunction. The costs to the US on a per capita basis are going to end up well in excess of best practice. Go hard go fast and be serious in the beginning. Now you seem to be past a point of no return. People are not going to accept all wearing masks closed state borders and serious quarantine. It was not acceptable in your country when it could have made a difference and it won't be acceptable now. I just say take care of yourself the best you can and best of luck.

  2. Because in the beginning the US didn't take it seriously and has remained one step behind not keeping up with case increases. The US will probably end up doing more tests per capita than any other country by the time this finishes.

  3. It's everywhere but there is a big difference in countries that successfully contained it and those that didn't. US is headed for possibly a worse situation overall than the worst hit European countries. At the moment the US is behind in per capita deaths but catching up.

  4. Using blood plasma can only be done small scale and it's expensive. If you can afford it then great but it's not for the masses.

  6.  Tony Hovgaard  my state is fine but one state Victoria which has about 7,000,000 people so a midsized US state equivalent had 288 cases in last 24 hours. It's possible they might lose control. If you come from that state to my state Queensland you will be put in government supervised hotel quarantine at your cost for 14 days. If you lie about not being in that state in the last 14 days you can get a $4,000 AUD fine. It's true things can go from looking ok to not ok very quickly.

  7. It's a probability calculation, it's not to stop it from ever spreading but that it will spread slowly and if a school hopefully not infect too many before it's realised.
