Let's hope he makes suitable picks , but this is the problem in your democracy , the job of president is too powerful and too extensive. In a democracy like Australia , my country nobody has anywhere near the power and what you call secretaries we call ministers and in your case all picked by one person , in our case they are chosen from elected representatives, these are the people who actually run the show. So you elect one person to run an entire government whereas we choose in general terms a party to run a government. Best of luck.
