  1. There is chaos on the US / Mexico border, for anyone to think an internal border in another nation would be less chaotic is a little unrealistic. If you get on a plane you are automatically in a rich developed nation with government support so regardless whether one fears the Taliban or not the pull factor is enormous. Let's hope the Taliban isn't as bad as previously, there is zero hope of getting the majority of the highly vulnerable out which is poor Afghani women and children.
