But that's not the big issue, as of today Ozempic costs $140 AUD or $96 USD unsubsidised at Chemist Warehouse.

And now what? You've discovered that these rideshare companies are literally seeing how low you will work for and probably adjusting for things such as age of driver and marital status etc and with all the data collection they will keep you on a subsistence income and of course they doing it to passengers too.

You've got it the wrong way around. Consumers are the ones in charge, if for example you want no added sugar full food breakfast cereal, go and buy it, the company doesn't care what choice you make. They are just making what you want to eat for the price you want to pay. It's not the job of corporations to tell you what to eat because you will just go and buy junk from an opposing company if they tried that. I own shares in one of the large supermarket chains in Australia, same thing applies I don't care what you want to eat I just prefer you buy from my supermarket. If you want to buy a bag of vegetables or a bag of chips it makes no difference to me, you are responsible for your choices, if the junk food aisle shrunk due to lack of demand I couldn't care less it'll just be filled up with healthier alternatives which still make the same money.

Actually it's highly regulated, open market or free market prices are far lower everywhere else. Otherwise an American could simply import these drugs from other countries for much lower prices.

Looking on besides the excessive punishments and parole denials I don't think prisoners should be working in private enterprise, should be for public things like maintaining parks or schools or whatever, Looking after public assets, not effectively providing super reliable private employees who can't leave under threat of punishment.

If you are referred to as a team member rather than an employee you are probably getting screwed.

To be fair he's half right. Someone one $100,000 per year is comfortable, the thing is $100,000 per year for an individual in the US might be top 20% or so. What about the bottom 80%.

Very good take and told in an understandable way. The US is in a worse situation than i realised.

If under Trump in particular they don't have to innovate as his idea is to have massive protection especially against anything made in China.

That in simple terms is saying freetrade versus socialism, and Trump is the socialist candidate when it comes to trade.

Happy you're receiving your cut of tax dollars. It's funded by tax payers and debt. The US is in downfall now.

So in simple terms Blackrock is the largest 0 risk commission business in the world.

It won't achieve much because there's nothing stopping PACs working accross state borders. What would be more effective is stopping funds flowing interstate. The NRA for example only has to run campaigns when a politician gets out of line, they don't have to run them everywhere and they get money from all over the country. A local community can't fight them.

You're probably right but not sure how Trump is going to change anything, he will likely make things worse. I don't think most Americans actually know what they want.

They should all be mixed government and private. Government is better at some things and private enterprise is better at others. Having a functional government is the key where decisions are evidence based.
