  1. You are right in both cases. Think of the US healthcare system as a fleet of top of the range vehicles but with children trying to work out how to drive those vehicles. Lack of coordination and willingness to make tough decisions means every mainland US state has failed.

  2. The US will likely overtake Sweden in deaths per capita unless a vaccine comes soon. The possible mortality rate in the US is much higher with a 20% obesity rate versus 36% obesity rate in adults.

  6. They have no reason to cover up anything at this point in time. This doesn't mean they aren't but it will be insignificant in the scheme of things, there isn't hundreds of thousands dying there, it would get out.

I could accept that you might be right if the official number is 50% of the real number, maybe even 33%, but your suggestion it is out by a factor of at least 20 seems ridiculous. Let me know where this information has come from, China is one of if not the most authoritarian large countries on the earth, locking down people and travel restrictions are not that difficult. Even Australia and New Zealand can do it and we aren't dictatorships, but in Australia we can't and haven't been as successful. New Zealand has and so have many Australian states at this point in time.
