I am in Australia and Tesla actually dominates the EV market here. There's probably 2 reasons for this , the Chinese EV manufacturers don't bother to meet safety standards which are likely similar to Japan also being right side driver vehicles and the US has more trust to the Australian consumer even though I am not sure where our Tesla's come from , ironically they might be made in China.
