  2. One factor regarding the case fatality rate is the generally lower life expectancy than average meaning not so many in the high risk category.

  3.  George Mburu  The number you suggest doesn't match what I can find. Where would I find this information? Even on the WHO website it states life expectancy in Kenya (2017) is 64 for males and 68 for females. I would think this is a reliable source.

  4. In relation to your last statement of it being talked about as if it's the flu I would suggest depends on the country you come from. I don't know the exact date but it would have been in March sometime the Australian Prime Minister urged all Australians to come home and he stated "we are going to see a lot of deaths in poorer nations which will be hard to watch" . He was half right, turns out the responses have been more regionally consistent and less to do with wealth with many poorer nations out performing some of wealthier nations who in theory had far greater resources available to achieve a good result.
