  1. It's pretty hard politically to kill your own population and save the lives of people in other countries. The Oxford Astrazeneca vaccine is the best as in it is produced in many countries at low cost. It's unfortunate that free travel was valued above life and this would appear to be the regional approaches by WHO . PAHO Pan-American Health Organization and European WHO region had this policy and the results speak for themselves. Western Pacific WHO region has quarantine for people entering the country and the worst performing country the Philippines has about 10% of the death rate of US. If you want to say there is evil which is a bit too strong then you should be saying the Americas and Europe are evil, both rich and poor countries because they both did the same.
