Unfortunately it's the same in every country on earth that a normal person can't challenge a government, however I expect the deportation order to stand.

Rule of law matters and this is what it's about. You might come from an open border/no rule of law country and it's probably causing significant issues. If you decide he can come in then anyone can come in with a lie.

Anyway your name doesn't indicate whether or not you are Australian, 30% of Australia's resident population was born overseas. We have a lot of immigrants. Novak lied on his form, that doesn't go down very well. Australia is a country with a controlled border and we want to keep it that way. If someone can lie to get into your country and nobody cares well you have a different culture then. If one can do it then everyone will do it. It would have been better if he didn't lie, that's on him.
