I don't know how effective measures are inside India but if you adjust for population about 20 countries had 1,000,000 plus infections per day during their peak, if India manages to have 500,000 cases per day maximum with the UK variant and possibly the Indian variants being able to spread at about twice the pace of the original virus.

  2. That is true but might not be true in 3 months time. Look at Brazil the same could have been said of them 6 months ago.
