Australia has been open to NZ travellers since about the start of the year, NZ was pretty slow to reciprocate and has taken a super hard line up to now as in a case in Perth they will consider Brisbane on the other side of the country unsafe, have to see what happens if a scenario like I suggest occurs, although much less likely because all hotel quarantine workers would now be vaccinated I expect.
