Unless they have some agreements with several other countries to get the results in a reasonable time it sounds too difficult. Unless as mentioned in this thread they ship all the tests to China who probably could achieve results quickly.

@deathlessoutlaw8136 The excess deaths in countries with high covid 19 infection rates are in excess of just the Covid 19 death numbers , so don't worry the secondary effects like lack of access to healthcare is also killing people going by the numbers.

@deathlessoutlaw8136 You must live in a society with lots of problems because those things you mentioned haven't occured in Australia. The ABS ( Australian Bureau of Statistics) has recently released the data for January through June. In March April which was the initial lockdown deaths did increase a little due to primarily diabetes and heart disease. My guess is the ones dying from heart disease was because they found the situation more stressful than usual and diabetes possibly people eating badly during lockdown maybe eating sugary foods when they know they shouldn't. Nobody has ever died in our hotel quarantine when entering Australia to my knowledge. Outside of Victoria all businesses are open and can have sporting events in the 10s of thousands, none of this seems to be causing deaths. By the end of the year it would seem likely Australian life expectancy will actually rise but we will have to see.

@deathlessoutlaw8136 ok so a few people arrested, there is no Utopia but thousands of less deaths and a few protesters getting arrested is a reasonable choice. Would you prefer 10,000 people dead or the handful of people who got arrested or imprisoned for some offences just infect away instead? Going by your screen name you might prefer thousands dead.
