  2.  @TheRandomASDF  It may not work but do no harm, purely symbolic things really like freezing any assets of the coup d'etat leaders that are overseas, not accepting their nominations of any diplomats , things like that, just sends a message we don't consider you to be the legitimate government. For some this matters and for some it doesn't. The biggest sanctions are already on the government from internal forces, mostly disobedience and not going to work, or in other words wide spread strikes.
