  1.  @ayanda1271  Russia and China are not open democracies , they are like Myanmar currently and would be fed misinformation anyway. Under such circumstances why would citizens of those countries object to anything?

  2.  @ayanda1271  In the background and open diplomatic efforts are being made, however sofar seem ineffective. I totally support sanctions against individuals, however I never support general sanctions this almost inevitably ends up cementing a dictatorship and hurts the poor. Only middle class people with food in their stomachs can or will ever remove a dictatorship. A hungry person just wants food. It's truly sad to see what is happening now. Your idea maybe could work, hold another election in 6 months and if and only if the military agree to it allow outside monitors and I understand your basic point is let them save face somehow. The main thing of diplomatic pressure should just be you have killed foreign investment because nobody can trust Myanmar now and to get it back have an election as soon as possible and allow outside monitors (UN preferably) so neither side has any advantage but must accept outcome.
