Duterte said it himself, does anyone really think he would be a passive Vice President or do they think he will be like Putin previously and eventually aim to change the constitution anyway which it looks like can be done if favourability rating is 90%. Maybe if time permits and he has the numbers he will go for the constitutional change before a new election.

  2. Very much so and he is likely to stay in power just like Putin did by becoming the Prime Minister (Vice President for Duterte in the PH system) and eventually changing the constitution. I can see with high probability exactly the same occuring.
