@kennyz6271 Hong Kong is just one small province, nothing like the Myanmar situation, however if no punitive sanctions that destroy the country soft sanctions can work, such as South Africa. It's not a given either way in Myanmar but personally I am slightly optimistic.

On CGTN they indicated almost all protestors went home, who to believe? I have my personal opinion but curious other opinion.

There are different cultures and times in history, north Korea is stuck in 1955 unfortunately.

@kennyz6271 only time will tell and I wish you the best of luck. The military might have more problems than you realise if funding for government wages is drying up but it will effect everyone if this occurs. I can't see the military being able have the government function for very long if protests continue without outside help which could come from China or Russia.
