Omicron hasn't been there in the community for long and they now have probably the toughest restrictions outside of China at the moment for "close contacts" in the world, still 14 days mandatory enforced quarantine at government run facilities for most. The cases are going to explode , the current efforts only provide some delays. Get back to me in a month, maybe 2, any delegation would just be looking at massive case numbers. New Zealand and Western Australia seem to have kept Omicron out for now but it's only a matter of time.
