You mustn't watch much news, similar things all around the world. The virus doesn't discriminate and nor do protestors unless of course the state is very authoritarian and or the government has for the most part done a good job in creating community support for it's measures. I can give examples in certain countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America of protests related to covid 19 measures, people are people.

@jeanmcginnis9804 I metaphorically come from sheep country , Queensland Australia, covid 19 free at least for the moment and the Mexicans (nickname for people from New South Wales and Victoria because they always migrating north) still crossing the border despite having to pay $2,800 AUD and go into horrible hotel quarantine for 14 days. Seems sheep country with minimal restrictions most of the time and occasional hard lockdown is popular.

Well some politician have done that pretty much, Bolsonaro, Modi, Trump and Biden. Turns out it somewhat harmed their popularity because not exactly true.

@wurzelbert84wucher5 Your example is great, Denmark 71% of population fully vaccinated and Germany only 60% fully vaccinated, if only the Germans would just get vaccinated in larger numbers it makes a big difference. My observation is probably that mob shown in the clip will prolong things because many of them will refuse to be vaccinated.

@wurzelbert84wucher5 you are viewing things in a simplistic manner, if the number of cases go up the hospitals have to cut back on regular services and those vulnerable people you seem concerned about die from other causes. There is society to consider also and young people sometimes with no apparent health issues die too, this affects people. I live in a covid 19 free state in Australia and I can assure you the vast majority are happy about this as in we don't want to be like our neighbouring state in lockdown, Australia is way less vaccinated and we seem to run a fairly lean health system so hospitals overflow quickly and outbreaks happen in hospitals killing the vulnerable too, Australian states have been 100% open about events occuring unlike most of the world where such tracing mostly isn't occurring and in the rare circumstances it is, it is being covered up, the US stands out for this practice, 600,000 dead yet not a single case of people catching the virus in hospital has been reported in the media. I think the full openness of Australia helps most people understand what is occurring. Such openness would have been helpful in other countries but now too late. In the US hospitals are overflowing in many states and a lot of medical staff are quitting so yet another problem from leaving cases out of control. Right now maybe the best policy in Germany might be when hospitals fill up we will preference vaccinated people and people in hospital for other reasons unvaccinated covid 19 patients will be put at the back of the queue and may not receive the best medical treatment under such circumstances, blunt reality might work.
