@briangoss4011 But Biden is to the right of Trump it would seem on free trade and industry policy and is definitely more fiscally conservative. Obama was and no reason to think Joe Biden will be any different. Very few people are as you describe, I would suggest many like countries such as France or Sweden which are fairly socialist and government spending and therefore taxes 50% of GDP and there might even be a few that like Australias or New Zealands position which is actually less socialist and more free trade orientated but decent protections for workers , free healthcare and welfare for needy humans and not corporations. Check economic freedom index by Heritage Foundation if you are uncertain of what I say about us actually being less socialist.
