@Peter from NZ The obesity rates are fairly low in Sweden at about 20% of adults, Australia and New Zealand we're at about 30%. Every country has its own particular issues. The US has 3 times the number of ICU beds of Australia on a per capita basis, it's probably a curse, the attitude by many in the US never changed from don't let the hospitals overwhelmed which was actually the position of every country originally, no real regard for deaths.

@Peter from NZ You'll be ok , NZ is similar to Queensland as in highly vaccinated and virtually no natural infections and so far yes we have some deaths and cases are crazy high but the deaths are minimal in the scheme of things and hopefully continues that way. Best of luck.

Like a flu vaccine? Yep the vaccines for Covid 19 are about as effective as the flu vaccines.

Maybe that's true, however the Spanish have been obedient and now enjoying freedoms and the Austrians disobedient now having more problems. I can say the same about my own country Australia where most states are now like Spain.

Technically they aren't being forced however the effective tax on not being vaccinated sounds pretty high.

@WallaseyanTube I actually agree with your comments or questions. Even if only 5% of people are truly antivaxxers it might make them quite angry. Where vaccine mandates have been put in place for jobs over 95% get vaccinated everywhere that that has been done , it does however leave an out for a true antivaxxer, they can just find a job where it's not required. The other thing in my anecdotal observation is that after all the nurses and doctors as an example get vaccinated those who are hesitant but not antivaxxers are then ok to get the vaccine. In many countries absolute mandates only apply to 10 or 20% of the workforce but adults vaccinated at over 90% rate.
