  1. Well 400 cases per day isn't low, it's just not catastrophic like before. Good news based on comment above about vaccinations however it's got 2 problems probably still not quick enough and it's all eggs in one basket, if a variant anywhere in the Americas or Europe and to some extent South Asia evades the vaccine no doubt it will be in all those regions within weeks because open borders without mandatory quarantine and back to square one.

  2. The problem is the job wasn't/isn't finished. Australia or China and a few others there is only one number to go for and that is 0. Another 8 weeks maybe Portugal back where they were , so many countries and jurisdictions have done this including many European countries this is why people in countries with continuous failures don't believe in lockdowns.
