  2.  @condovo  You're exaggerating , quick search suggests $400 billion. However let's run with your argument, the US is giving handouts to rich foreigners while they have homeless people on the streets, highest homicide rate of a wealthy country (about 5 times average, Israel is extremely safe compared to the US despite the fighting), lowest life expectancy of a wealthy country about 4 or 5 years below Israel. The US is insane, it can't take care of itself but giving substantial handouts to a far better country (as long as you don't live in Gaza or West bank) on almost every key measure, absolutely insane.
