  1.  @SnackAttack6  They would be fairly high ranking members of the party so close enough, maybe they are in government but that doesn't mean much when you have a supreme leader. Whenever I see video of the Chinese or North Korean government meetings , I always think what are you all doing there, only one guy makes all the decisions, you are just window dressing.

First part of your statement is correct, however your reasoning isn't, North Korea wants at least some amount of independence from everyone including China who really doesn't want a nuclear armed North Korea but also doesn't want it to be non communist. North Korea shut it's border pretty much to China because they don't trust the Chinese and think they will bring covid 19 in. They are technically less friendly to China than the US at the moment, maybe similar to Trump previously.

  5.  @patrickdayton2080  yes of course and that's why I said some amount of independence, just like every country. As the clip said actually the more North Korea wants to be isolated the more they will have to rely on China.
