@huikitwee274 Tropical and subtropical areas have more bats, I don't think you see hundreds of bats in colonies that fly off every night in the mangroves of Canada, but plenty around my region in Queensland Australia. Have maybe 1,000s in a single colony, this is fruit bats or we call flying foxes. Various similar species will be all throughout the tropics and subtropical areas of the world. The cooler the area the less bats and their are more bat species than any other mammal 1,400 of them. Bats and birds are the perfect disease spreaders because they have massive social gatherings and fly, bats being mammals are more closely related to us so viruses can affect us easier than birds. Missed one, and the outbreak was most likely from the mutated strain which might well have originated in Wuhan. So the origin depending how you define it might be Wuhan.
