It's worse than that. Having stand your ground laws with police can enter without notice ( knocking and identifying themselves) . The elected government officials in that state are literally acting in an insane manner.

@zacharycraft2129 really ? And the occupants are entitled to shoot back under stand your ground laws. I suppose if you want police killed along with the occupants. Under stand your ground laws the police are probably innocent because they were legally entitled to be there. This is really wild west justice.

Why are there so many comments about Trump. The states control these matters and the problems are systemic in many US states and it doesn't seem to matter if they are controlled by Democrats or Republicans.

It's interesting that when a black policeman kills an unarmed white lady it takes 8 months for an arrest but when a white policeman kills an unarmed black person in exactly the same jurisdiction and the arrest takes 4 days everyone is complaining how slow it was. Seems a bit inconsistent to me.

Anthony Egidio it actually makes a big difference. This is why less educated white people prefer Trump. There are more poor White people in the US but their voices are not being heard or at least that's what they perceive. Proportion is lower but gross number is larger.
