@nurismail_ The main thing was actually the initial response. Malaysia never allowed it to get out of hand and tested and traced more in the beginning like many other countries in our region. The US has completely abandoned containment and only can do mitigation now. One thing that baffles me at the moment is why did governments in our region take it seriously and North America and Europe didn't in the beginning.

Check the current per capita deaths in Sweden, I think the US might be able to catch up. You only need about 40,000 more deaths give or take to have about the same mortality rate as Sweden.

@sammu and as a rule it's true. Young people are doing the right thing to protect others and if they aren't then that's very selfish.

@henrichvonstaufenberg4841 that's unless you are the 1% give or take that it will kill. If there are mutations significant enough to bring that down to say half it would probably take some time and also reduce the effectiveness of any potential vaccine.

They don't literally think it's not real do they? It's impossible for me to believe seeing NYC with the refrigerated trailers lined up outside the hospitals and the mass grave being filled up anyone thinks it's not real.
