  1. Reed Galen's appeal is great, I would seriously consider sending you money but I'm Australian and even if I could get around donation rules I wouldn't want to. I send my best wishes, while I think your democracy needs to be refurbished as in the constitution needs changing first you need to keep it a democracy before considering what needs to be changed.

Most authoritarianism is through money not guns, create the laws that favor one group over another and you can oppress them, they will even vote in favor of their own oppression if the propaganda is good enough. Case in point the socialist US spends more on publically funded healthcare than Australia on a per capita basis yet we have universal healthcare. Although so far I have never actually got a response defending higher taxes for less services to this comment I have put literally 100 times or so , it's clear to me this makes people uncomfortable. I have had a couple of responses saying that they want to buy insurance etc. well nothing stopping people doing that in Australia should you choose that. Apparently low cost universal services (the savings are in part from those who want to buy their own at minimal subsidies) is communist, I would argue it's common sense, I hate high taxes and my money being burnt.
