  1.  @jeffanderson7591  I agree Trump defected to the side of the virus after a 2 week soft lockdown he started pressuring states to reopen, from memory it was actually that quick because had to reopen by Easter at the latest. In Australia we held out against the virus for 2 months and all but one state succeeded in no more harsh lockdown, the remaining state that had a second lockdown harder than the first has now succeeded and only 17 cases of community transmission confined to 2 states in the last 7 days.

I know if he was in Australia or New Zealand and an election was held with Trump being the leader of a party, noting our different system that party would be crushed to the point of becoming a minor fringe party. He could never become leader of a major party though because he is very inflammatory and divisive.

  4. It doesn't matter because Trump says you can't believe the data of any other countries, but he can't say anything because we are allies. He actually said that about South Korea but to a Trump devotee all the countries in the West Pacific including Australia my country and New Zealand are lying and don't test much. Of course we don't test much if it's only precautionary in many cases. We are advised in Australia and NZ and I am guessing other countries also any symptoms no matter how small please get tested.

  6. I doubt it because any aggressive orders he gives will be met with very strong resistance. He can't really start any international problems because the US is a mess internally. He could I guess cause problems in the next week, I think it's only a matter of time before a highly armed "peaceful protest" goes horribly wrong, this is a real risk , no opinion if it could spread though. I am not American , just observation from afar.

If you prefer burying your head in the sand like an ostrich and that apparently works for the ostrich because I guess it can remain still until trouble has passed. So don't knock Trump on his methods the Whitehouse isn't a beach with sand.
