  1. ​@timemaytell4669 There would be mixed opinions about Trump in Australia. Go and check a few youtube clips on Sky News Australia, they're pretty much a carbon copy of Fox news. So people who watch them are Trump supporters. The thing about Trump is he is so unpredictable so the question is would he follow through with getting the US out of NATO for example. It seems for whatever reason Trump likes Russia and hates China which is completely inconsistent but makes sense in a protectionist way. This does mean however from an Australian perspective we are less concerned than the Europeans. Also Trump wanting to start a trade war with China will probably help countries like Australia and Canada as we compete with the US on agricultural products in particular and China of course will retaliate. Trump if he gets in and realised his tariffs on China plus 10% on all other countries will do the poor people in the US huge harm with more inflation on everything from food to electrical appliances. Australians really don't understand Americans and your politics because we think both sides are nuts in the US, no secure border, public healthcare spending in excess of Australia but not universal etc. and it seems like neither party wants to fix things that are truly broken. Internally you have very serious problems leading to the lowest outcomes in most metrics for a high income country.
