  1. Cultural appropriation regarding using kale , how completely ridiculous. I remember my girlfriend in Thailand wouldn't eat carrot because it wasn't "Thai" , now in Thailand any reasonable restaurant serving locals, carrot is now a standard ingredient in fried rice. Tell any Korean critic they aren't allowed to use Chilli or any plant from that family because that was brought to Korea by the white man a few hundred years ago, completely untraditional. I give chilli as the example because it seems chilli is required for modern kimchi. A quick search it even seems Koreans have discovered the potato.
