  2.  @johnspirit6826  Thanks for response , my understanding is that the states actually possess the same powers but underneath the Commonwealth so the states can't override the Commonwealth in most cases. As far as closing borders I think that's ok but don't know about the quarantine measures and a court may determine there has been over reach for example in QLD they say can't travel more than 50km unless for certain things. I think that is overreach because if I was to travel 200 km away with full tank of fuel and food and I just want to go sightseeing and stay away from others and businesses what harm can I do.
