  1. The irony is bibles are being bought up big time in many states. That's a book , the old testament part at least which is extremely brutal and violent. God is depicted as a nasty vengeful overlord bringing death upon those who don't obey or whatever. To allow small children access to such a horrible book seems counter-intuitive.
