Some truth in what you say and agree with you about US because even after it realised the initial response was a complete failure there was no change of direction, just not overflow hospitals but don't really care how many die.

@ChrisWellejus they work as in reduce risk, they don't eliminate risk, just like a seatbelt in a car.

The failed US response was transparent if nothing else, so I doubt it but maybe I am wrong.

@JaayTea2595 China did alert the world with the Wuhan lockdown in January, however I agree with the statement towards the end if they had been transparent at least some other countries would have taken it more seriously. I think the West Pacific countries ex mainland China were very transparent and also willing to tell of errors which we all learned from creating relative success.

@sophiawilson8696 Wuhan lockdown was 23 January so what are you talking about, cases were discovered outside of China in many countries by 21 January, so every reasonable person knew it was dangerous and already here in any medium or large country.

@CJDcow Huh what are you talking about, what does Trump's domestic failures resulting in his election loss have to do with anything? Biden wasn't running to be president of China so not sure how anything relates.

@generalfluffyproto It doesn't show what you assert of a cover-up of the pandemic but a cover-up of the problems they faced and the failures at the time.
