  1. What a strange thing to say " I felt like I was a foreign correspondent" Has he not been watching the news for the last year with authorities attacking the media. The last time an Australian media person was attacked was when Trump cleared the mob for his photo op, in that case it was the federal authorities that attacked him. Do CNN reporters think they have immunity in their own violent country or something. Does CNN believe that an unruly mob who supports the authorities who attacked journalists would be better behaved? The US has a homicide rate 6 times that of Australia and much more violent than any country of similar wealth. Maybe CNN should send there reporters around the world so they can have a better idea because they are just like their violent American friends and can't accept that "American exceptionalism" is harmful and dangerous because it is basically being superior to all others and in denial of reality.
