What a silly comment, some of them were " black and brown" . So if you are going to make such a silly comment say I think if the majority were black and brown maybe it would have been different. I would suggest however color had nothing to do with anything and the person calling for the fighting and never backing down also had control over the response. Funnily enough Trump wanted a soft touch on his Trump supporters who he literally sent there. He could have easily had 20,000 unarmed (riot gear and batton only) national guard troops surround the building to protect it however he was the instigator of the riot not protector of the electoral process.

@shauntrailskinner9645 probably because brown can be a white person like an Hispanic person with blue eyes and blond hair. Your racial and ethic definitions in your country are really messed up. Even in the clip a black person was shown but people are colorblind if it goes against the narrative, the protestors weren't all white. George Zimmerman was declared white despite being partially black because it fit the narrative "white man kills black teenager" even though he was also young and they could both be called black. There are many such examples.

@billybobkumar9231 What's the relevance of something that happened 50 years ago in a different jurisdiction. I would suggest none. Even you look at different BLM protests in different states , very different protestors and police reactions. I am not American and followed it with much curiosity. Because of the bad reputation of Alabama and Mississippi I searched to find the protests in those states and overall the protestors peaceful not burning stuff down or anything like that and the police light handed when compared to some other states. Then you look at what I consider copycat BLM protests in Australia that had about 70,000 estimated turnout around my country way outnumbering police in most big cities and there was 2 incidents, some people misbehaved in a train station after the protests going home at a train station and were pepper sprayed and in another incident an Aboriginal flag was stuck to a police station so technically vandalism. I arrest occured of a single counter protestor most likely for his own safety. So can't even compare Australia with the light touch approach of the less agressive US states. In the US I don't know what has happened and why people protest quite often a long way away from the jurisdiction of an incident. Not sure what California should do if an incident happens in Florida for arguments sake or what current day California has to do with current day Washington DC with Federal and territory jurisdictions involved.
