  3. The problem in a public health sense is it snowballs, then those left have it even worse and more likely to quit. Of course your friend did the right thing , one can only take so much.

  4. Not behind you but in a better position. Australia is opening up now and cases are skyrocketing, not sure what is to come but our vaccination rates are pretty good. My state of Queensland Australia had 14% of it's total overall cases yesterday. 500+ for a population of about 5 million, that for us is pretty scary, going from "covid 0" to "covid normal". Singapore tried the same a bit earlier but put significant restrictions back in, I suspect that may happen with us but unlike Singapore with a similar population we are much more spread out not just a city state so maybe we can get by easier.
