Knowing his followers, to get on TV because if you wear a mask you get to stand or sit behind the president. For some reason Trump thinks that changes something showing some people are willing to wear a mask. To be fair some probably do think it's a good idea they just hate Democrats more. Most of Trump rally crowds don't wear masks if you see a pan of the entire crowd.

@coffeebucket54 I am happy in my country of Sheep , Australia and in my state no need for masks because no cases. I think one state requires them because they are in the tail end of cleaning up a major outbreak. Anyway not looking too bad 9 cases total yesterday for a country of 25,000,000 and at least one is an imported case. How is Florida doing they don't wear masks either and close to Australia s population?

One thing is Trump is highly literate and an extremely skilled salesman. He might be many things like a terrible leader who is literally causing some citizens to take risks which will cause them to become non citizens. For someone to sell such an idea you must be highly literate and a skilful wordsmith.

Fortescue I think he does read and has literally studied other populist leaders because his skill is too good at manipulation and follows an identical path to them. I could be wrong which means he is a genius at what he does, although looks like he will lose he still has a chance this election, his base are devotees they are not mere supporters. Biden has 0 devotees which is a good thing. Once he lied with intent to his devotees saying it's actually less harmful than the flu and it's all over etc. , I am not American but to me that's crossing a line that can never be crossed, encouraging people to in some cases cause their own death or death of a relative and we know it's happening and Trump can't be that stupid he doesn't know, he just doesn't care.
