  1. The scary thing is where you are speaking this from. Western Europe completely failed in the beginning just like the US , but decided something had to change. Western Europe and Canada are the examples that even if you failed in the beginning the ongoing outcomes can be changed. If any vaccine that most likely will come to market isn't highly effective for whatever reason including mutations of the virus this could continue for 2 or 3 years. The conservative approach is to assume the vaccine won't work. Hope for the best but act as if it won't happen. The US currently has no game plan if all vaccines fail.
