  1. Depending where, in Western Europe they are in a similar position. I am in Australia and have been following the US. Here in the West Pacific regardless of government type population densities, cultural differences we have had a similar response, responses from much poorer countries like Vietnam , Malaysia and Thailand make the US seem particularly incompetent. The alternative argument that my country and others of similar response might turn out to be somewhat true but as of now with the best performing countries in my region and a population to match or far in excess of if you include China and Indonesia ( Indonesia is not doing all that well but looking better than US) we have combined deaths that don't even come close in any way shape or form. I think our conservative approach so far is the best approach.
