  1. We know the lady in the story was told indirectly at least , he's going to die. The doctor may have assumed the wife was smart enough to realise organs shutting down means death but it didn't click in her mind. To me the only real issue is she wasn't told directly as if talking to a child and she actually acknowledged that by saying if he had told me that would have been a different story. So long as "the organs were shutting down" is correct a Tylenol wouldn't have killed him quicker too , just not as quickly.

  2. Americans are very uncomfortable talking about death. 1 million dead from covid 19 and it's response and barely a peep and the right to infect was never impinged. A story that 25 people might have had a few days shaved off their life all off a sudden it's a big issue.
