  2. I think what Mike Bryant meant to say was there are significant disparities of mental illness based on ethnicity and sex. The suicide statistics prior to the pandemic and absolute rise of Qanon bear this out. Highest suicide rates are white non Hispanic male followed by black non Hispanic male. Suicide rates amongst Asian and Hispanic American are quite low and not heavily towards one or another sex.
