  1.  @larryfroot  yes the 147 was the last published number of average daily deaths over the previous 7 days for the UK based on death certificates not that died within 28 days thing which no other country uses. The UK is at 2,100 deaths per million and US at 2,400 deaths per million now according to worldometer. The gap though is likely to keep getting wider because there's no evidence that the unvaccinated in the US will change their minds without being forced to and doesn't look like that can go much further. The numbers are crazy in both countries, I am from Queensland Australia which is still a covid 0 state but borders opening soon so pretty scary.
