Not really, the US form of limited socialism is quite different to say my country Australia and we rate higher than the US on the Heritage Foundation Economic Freedom Index as do all other 5 EYES allies, meaning as a proxy measure because includes rule of law also which isn't necessarily capitalist or socialist the US isn't as capitalist as you might imagine.

@rochelimit55555 Yes you've found it obviously. My point is the US behaviour is not about capitalism in a direct sense. The US tends to tax and give handouts often in the form of bailouts to industry but cares less about people. So a welfare safety net is seen as socialist yet subsidising say a bank isn't even though subsidising the bank due to failures is actually more socialist. People often describe it as corporatism which from my understanding is socialism directed towards corporations who in particular lobby governments for money. Any just throwing my opinion at you that true capitalism with the majority of socialism directed towards the needy or for other public policy reasons is good and don't judge all capitalism as the same.
