@andrewhazlewood4569 We are Australian , Sky News Australia the equivalent of Fox isn't taken seriously and to be fair the printed press , newspapers are ok, I will consider Financial Review or The Australian the same , both quality balanced national newspaper and from slightly different ideology. The local papers maybe a bit different, but as a Queenslander with basically only Murdoch press we are doing ok.

@Nofearforever21 media companies don't get your data , facebook keeps that, facebook just has to give some money to the media companies. Nobody is forcing you to watch or read any news, what are you talking about? We are not talking re education camps here.

Before people go crazy over Murdoch, Australia has less than 1 fifth of the homicide rate of the US, almost 5 years extra life expectancy, universal healthcare that's cheaper for the government than the non universal healthcare of the US. Don't blame one person, he doesn't control you and forgot the most relevant one covid 19 free and approximately 8% lower government deficit to GDP. Americans man the news desks at Fox and people sit up and listen , Australians man the news desk at Sky News Australia and we mostly ignore them. You can't blame others for the vulnerability of people not to make a judgement and being a blind follower. Murdoch media is far bigger in Australia as a proportion than the US and we are doing ok.
