@pamdeshane1289 I read your link. So what is your position? You say enough is enough. Is it your position just infect them , who cares or maybe the US should consider taking the actions required to at a minimum stabilize numbers like NY or California and then take higher risks in nursing homes that might kill them but at least risk is lowered somewhat.

@pamdeshane1289 I come from a virus free state in Australia and possibly a virus free country soon with cases of community transmission below 10 in last day. So my perspective will be different, the best is a hard lockdown for 6 maybe 8 weeks and get rid of the virus so things can go to "covid normal" which will still require compulsory hotel quarantine for people entering your state from another country or infected state. I know that's impossible in the US because you haven't had any hard comprehensive lockdowns and your country is completely divided. The next best option might be like that of Sweden which is a middle position when compared to the US , they did a much harder lockdown on nursing homes than the US and limits on gatherings are still 50 I think and reduced capacity in restaurants etc., but realistically the US will not take the Swedish approach either because too strict for many states. Protect yourself and best of luck is all I can say. Make sure if you can that your friend receives or weeks help if needed. Businesses everywhere have gone under including Sweden because not enough customer, so they are certainly not alone, regardless of the approach a country took. Have a good day and try not to stress.
