No, contain them. Expelling them just means they spread it everywhere. Campus lockdown, no one in or out.

Nothing hidden, many governments have paid for likely candidate vaccines to be produced. I am guessing if the vaccine doesn't work it's probably at cost and if it works then at profit.

@richardjones2750 Everyone knew that, you don't lock down a city Wuhan if people washing their hands would stop the spread. So using the most basic logic it must spread through the air.

@richardjones2750 You are confused, I have just said anyone who watched the news around 20 January knew because an entire city was being locked down. So of course Trump knew.

@richardjones2750 That is a question I can't answer because it makes no sense. The "it'll go away like magic in April " if my memory is correct made even less sense.

He has raised expectations as has Fauci that a vaccine will be available late this year or early next year. Maybe production might be occurring but if you can't vaccinate the vast majority at once and as has been suggested the vaccine might only be effective for 6 months it's more of the same possibly.

orion Loses it gets better than that, sewerage is being tested, so if it's found in the sewerage then a call for people to be tested in the area goes out. I think in the US that might not be helpful at this stage.

@alexhughes3698 Seems rather familiar. A bunch of Iraqis defected and advised of the chemical and biological weapons all over Iraq and the sophistication of the systems. They are to this day American citizens.

It's not due to Trump but the CDC proved itself to be great at theory and terrible at implementation of a plan. If you listen to what Fauci said on February 26 that the US was doing well and not many cases because of good health care and contact tracing you realise everyone failed. The problem is when the failures were apparent nothing was done and Trump certainly contributed to this and probably exacerbated it. If Trump did nothing the health outcomes would probably be not as bad but he discouraged mask wearing and campaigned against governor's who were trying to get things under control.
